This Garrison (New York) home is situated on a challenging sloped site which had suffered erosion and was almost completely unusable to human occupants as well as plants. Through an artful placement (in collaboration with Tim Heady Landscapes) of a landscape wall, large boulders, stone steps and pavers, the landscape was reclaimed for use by humans and a wonderful assortment of beneficial plants. What was a degraded and denuded landscape was – through the hard work of all project collaborators – transformed into a beautiful landscape.
